Profetens Puffar / Preacher’s Pillows is a play of textile expression in the weight and hard surface of the concrete. The work consists of three sitable sculptures at different heights above the grass and are placed in a position where the afternoon sun sweeps over the site.
The undercarriage is made of brushed steel that has been welded together and cast
in the ground under the grass. The placement goes from hovering just above the tops of the blades of grass to a more common sitting height and invites up to three visitors to position themselves facing or away from each other in the western part of tStudio Kapellet’s garden.
